Portugal 2025: WHat to Expect
After 12 successful summits in Playa Grande, Costa Rica, we are pumped to bring the Surf & Sales magic to Europe in October 2025. While we are still firming up some details prior to opening up reservations, we know enough to be very excited.
Portugal 2025 will offer 2 distinct experiences: one for guests who have never surfed or surfed only a few times, and one for more experienced surfers (no need to be a pro, just intermediate or above).
New surfers will receive instruction and surf at the same location every day, whereas experiened surfers will explore a variety of world-class breaks nearby. All guests will be staying the same incredible beachfront villas, and enjoying meals and other activities together. Read on to learn more!

Surf & Sales has always helped attendees up their sales game, for our European edition, we also wanted to help our attendees to level up their surf game. For intermediate surfers and above, we will be offering an optional package for daily coaching and video analysis with Shannon Ainslee, ISA Trainer and coach of the Norwegian Olympic Team.

Scott lives in Austin, Texas, but “home” is in the lineup in Playa Grande, Costa Rica.
ABOUT RICHARD
It's always about the human to human connection. Whether it's personal or professional, or as Richard likes to call it "Per-fessional", Creating space for authentic relationships is the primary reason Richard, Scott and Jeff created Surf and Sales. "We weren't getting what we wanted out of traditional sales conferences, so we decided to make our own based on what we knew people truly craved, community. ABOUT Jeff
Jeff is the CEO of Eli Technologies, a venture-backed fintech company aiming to make clean energy and electrification affordable for all.
For nearly two decades, Jeff has been a founder, sales and growth leader, investor, and consultant at the intersection of technology and social impact, and most of all enjoys building purposeful teams that get shit done. Prior diving into tech startups, as Deputy Field Director in 2008 and Senior Advisor in 2012, Jeff was instrumental in developing the groundbreaking tech-driven organizing strategy of Barack Obama’s two presidential campaigns.
Jeff surfs every chance he gets, and admits that if the waves a really good in Playa Grande, you might have trouble finding him on dry land.
